Serving the Pilbara Region and Western Australia.

Building Local Capability for the Pilbara

During her visit, the Minister toured our facility and learned more about how Red Dog Renewables is building real, on-the-ground capability in regional WA.

Our EV Hub brings together a range of services designed specifically for Pilbara conditions, including:

  • Electric vehicle hire and fleet solutions

  • Local EV and hybrid servicing

  • Off-grid and solar-powered charging infrastructure

  • Renewable equipment supply for industry

By providing these services locally, we are helping remove some of the key barriers to EV adoption in regional areas, particularly concerns around servicing, reliability, and infrastructure.

Supporting WA’s Energy Transition

The Minister’s visit reflects strong confidence in the role regional businesses like Red Dog Renewables play in supporting Western Australia’s broader decarbonisation goals.

The Pilbara is one of Australia’s most important economic regions, and it is also central to the State’s long-term net-zero ambitions. Transitioning transport fleets, reducing emissions, and strengthening local renewable capability are critical steps toward achieving these targets.

At Red Dog Renewables, we are proud to contribute to this transition by delivering practical, industry-ready solutions that work in real conditions, from remote mine sites to local road networks.

Creating Local Jobs and Opportunities

Beyond environmental benefits, the growth of EV and renewable infrastructure in the Pilbara is also creating meaningful economic opportunities.

Our expanding operations are helping to:

  • Support local employment and skills development

  • Strengthen regional supply chains

  • Build new technical capability within the community

This is about more than vehicles, it’s about building a sustainable future for the Pilbara that combines innovation, economic resilience, and environmental responsibility.

Looking Ahead

The visit from the Minister reinforces the importance of collaboration between government, industry, and local businesses in driving the transition toward cleaner transport.

As electric vehicle adoption continues to grow across Western Australia, Red Dog Renewables remains committed to leading the way in regional EV capability, ensuring that the Pilbara has access to world-class solutions close to home.

We’re proud to play our part in shaping a cleaner, smarter future for the region.

Cleaner. Smarter. Pilbara tough.
