As we step into 2026, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year for Red Dog Renewables. 2025 was a year of growth, milestones, and momentum — not just for our business, but for clean transport and renewable capability across the Pilbara.

Serving the Pilbara Region and Western Australia.
From expanding our fleet and services, to opening the region’s first dedicated EV Servicing Centre, to supporting industry, community and innovation, this year marked a major step forward in our mission: helping the Pilbara transition to cleaner, smarter transport solutions without compromising on performance or reliability.
Building Real Capability in the Pilbara
One of the biggest milestones of 2025 was the opening of the Pilbara’s first EV Servicing Centre at our new facility in Karratha. This wasn’t just a new workshop — it was the creation of critical local capability.
For too long, EV and hybrid owners in the region have had to rely on city-based servicing. In 2025, that changed. Our new facility now offers:
Local EV and hybrid servicing
Fast charging infrastructure
Specialist EV tooling and safety equipment
Increased capacity with new hoists
Support for mine-spec and remote fleet vehicles
This investment removed one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption in regional WA: confidence in local support.
A Big Year on the Road
Our fleet continued to grow and diversify throughout 2025, including the addition of new electric and hybrid vehicles designed specifically for Pilbara conditions.
We also passed a major milestone, surpassing 750,000 kilometres of EV driving across the region — on mine sites, highways, rail corridors and remote roads. These weren’t easy city kilometres; they were earned in red dust, heat, and real-world conditions.
Each kilometre reinforced the same message: EVs are not just viable in the Pilbara — they’re thriving here.
Supporting Industry and Innovation
2025 saw Red Dog Renewables continue to support major clients and regional operators with EV fleet deployments, servicing and trials.
One standout project was the deployment of an electric mini dozer into a confined tunnel environment, where diesel fumes would have increased both safety risks and operational complexity. The electric solution delivered cleaner air, lower risk, and a more efficient work environment — proving that electrification isn’t just about sustainability, it’s also about smarter engineering.
We also spent time testing and showcasing new technology, including electric utes, specialist equipment, and even the LiveWire Harley-Davidson, because innovation only works if it’s proven in real Pilbara conditions.
Recognition and Support
2025 was also a year of recognition and partnership.
We were incredibly proud to see Arthur (Artie) Ramirez recognised as Businessperson of the Year at the KDCCI Business Excellence Awards — a reflection of the leadership, vision, and determination driving Red Dog Renewables forward.
The opening of our EV Servicing Centre was made possible with the support of the Pilbara Development Commission and the Regional Economic Development (RED) Grant, which contributed $250,000 toward building local capability for the future.
Community at the Core
As always, community remained central to what we do.
In 2025, we were proud to support:
Baynton West United Football Club
Karratha Go Kart Club
Local events, schools and community initiatives
We believe building a strong Pilbara isn’t just about infrastructure and industry, it’s about people, families and opportunities.
None of This Happens Without the Team
Behind every deployment, every service job, every project and every milestone is a dedicated team.
From long days on site to late nights in the workshop, the RDR crew has continued to prove that innovation and hard work go hand in hand. 2025 was a massive year, and it simply wouldn’t have happened without their commitment, pride and professionalism.
Looking Ahead to 2026
If 2025 was about building foundations, 2026 is about scaling impact.
We’re heading into the new year with:
An expanded fleet
A fully operational EV Servicing Centre
New technology and new projects on the horizon
A growing number of Pilbara businesses choosing cleaner transport
Our goal remains simple:
Keep the Pilbara moving while helping drive down emissions.
Thank You, Pilbara
To our clients, partners, supporters and community, thank you for backing us, challenging us, and building this future alongside us.
Here’s to a bigger, bolder 2026.
Cleaner. Smarter. Pilbara tough.
